T2 The Arcade Game – Sega Genesis Game

A home conversion of the Terminator 2 arcade shooter for the Sega Genesis. Play scrolls automatically along a fixed path while you aim a crosshair at the screen, firing on Skynet’s hunter-killers, endoskeletons and aerial units across scenes drawn from the film’s future war and present-day sequences. Ammunition and missiles are limited, so you reload and manage your shots, and you are penalised for hitting human characters you are meant to protect. Set pieces include vehicle chases and a confrontation with the T-1000, along with a stage where you shoot components inside Cyberdyne’s laboratory. The game can be played with a standard control pad or with a compatible light gun, and digitised character images and sound clips are used throughout.
