Tak 2 The Staff of Dreams – Gamecube Game

A 3D platformer for the Nintendo GameCube and a sequel starring Tak, a young shaman-in-training. You run, jump, climb and swim through jungle, village and dream-themed environments, collecting items and solving light environmental puzzles between combat encounters. Tak uses a staff in melee and gains juju magic abilities as the story progresses, including powers that let him take control of animals to reach areas and perform actions he cannot manage himself. Some sections change the style of play with riding, gliding or rail-style segments. Enemies are dispatched with combos and magic, and boss fights close out major areas. The tone is cartoonish and comedic throughout, with voiced cutscenes advancing the plot as Tak pursues the staff of the title.
