Tempest X3 An Inter-Galactic Battle Zone – PlayStation

Tempest X3: An Inter-Galactic Battle Zone is a PlayStation shoot ’em up based on the arcade Tempest formula. This version expands the tube-shooter action with new alien enemies, weapons, web shapes, environments, and bonus warp worlds.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Fast arcade-style shooting focuses on blasting enemies along geometric webs while staying mobile under constant pressure.
• Features 99 psychedelic levels with intense music and bonus warp worlds built around the Tempest visual style.
• New weapons and redesigned web layouts give this PlayStation entry a different feel from the original arcade game.
• Two-player options include both cooperative play and competitive play for head-to-head or shared-screen sessions.
• Uses 1 block of PlayStation Memory Card space for saved progress.

The game connects directly to Atari’s Tempest arcade lineage while adding a console-era structure built around expanded level count and new stage designs. Its cooperative and competitive modes give the PlayStation version a multiplayer angle beyond the original solo arcade format.
