Terraria – Wii U Game

Terraria is a two-dimensional sandbox game built around mining, crafting, building and combat. You start with basic tools in a randomly generated world and dig downward through layers of stone and caverns or build upward on the surface, gathering ores and materials to make better gear, weapons and armor. Non-player characters move into houses you construct, opening up shops and services. Exploration turns up underground structures, treasure and hazards, and summoning or encountering bosses pushes the world into tougher stages with new materials to work with. Day and night cycles bring different enemies to the surface. The Wii U release supports play on the GamePad and local multiplayer on a single console, letting several players share and build in the same world together.
