The Croods

The Croods: Prehistoric Party is a party game for the Wii U based on the DreamWorks animated film about a prehistoric family. Play centres on a collection of short mini-games drawn from the movie’s Stone Age setting, with simple objectives such as races, chases, dodging hazards and gathering items. Games are grouped into board-style and tournament modes where players move around a map and compete in an event at each stop, scoring points toward an overall win. Characters from the film are selectable, and matches can be played solo against computer opponents or with friends locally. The Wii U version makes use of the GamePad screen alongside the television, and controls are kept straightforward so younger players can join in. Rounds are short and designed for group play.
