The Grinch – PS1 Game

A 3D action platformer for the PlayStation based on the Dr. Seuss character. You play as the Grinch, working through Whoville and the surrounding areas to gather parts and materials for gadgets and to make a mess of the Whos’ Christmas preparations. Levels are built around exploration and collection: you pick up items scattered around each area, avoid or evade Whos who spot you, and use contraptions and vehicles built from what you find. Max the dog appears alongside the Grinch, and the sour, mischievous tone of the source material carries through the presentation and dialogue. Objectives are listed per level, so you generally know what you are hunting for before you set off across each snowy environment.
