The House of the Dead 2 – Sega Dreamcast Game

A light gun rail shooter for the Dreamcast, converted from the Sega arcade game. You move automatically through Venice and other locations overrun by the undead, shooting creatures as they appear and reloading by firing off screen. Civilians appear throughout, and saving them or choosing different routes branches the path you take through each chapter, changing which areas and encounters you see. Chapters end with large boss creatures, each with a specific weak point to target. The Dreamcast release can be played with a light gun peripheral, the standard controller or a mouse, and includes the arcade mode alongside additional modes and training exercises not found in the coin-op version. Two players can shoot together simultaneously. Voice acting and cutscenes carry the story between stages.
