The Incredibles – Gamecube Game

The Incredibles is an action game based on the Pixar film, following the story through a series of levels. You switch between characters depending on the stage, using powers that match each hero: Mr. Incredible relies on strength, throwing enemies and heavy objects and smashing through obstacles, while Dash’s levels emphasise running at speed along set routes, and Violet uses invisibility and force fields to get past hazards. Play mixes brawling with platforming and light puzzle sections, and stages are broken up with clips and dialogue that retell the movie’s plot. Enemies include the robotic and human forces you would expect from the film, and boss encounters cap off several chapters. The GameCube version presents the campaign in 3D environments drawn from the film’s locations.
