The Scorpion King Rise of the Akkadian – Gamecube Game

Rise of the Akkadian is an action-adventure game based on The Scorpion King film, with you playing Mathayus as he fights through desert ruins, temples and enemy strongholds. Combat is melee-focused, using swords and other weapons in combo strings against groups of soldiers and creatures, with blocking and evasion mixed in. Between fights you explore linear environments, solve simple traversal problems and take on boss encounters. New weapons and abilities become available as you progress, letting you vary your attacks. The GameCube version presents the action in full 3D with a third-person camera, and story sequences connect the missions to the film’s setting of ancient warlords and sorcery. Structure is mission-based, moving you from one location to the next as the plot advances.
