The Simpsons Bart vs the Juggernauts – Gameboy Game

A Game Boy game in which Bart Simpson takes part in a mock television competition, facing off against a group of large opponents known as the Juggernauts. Play is divided into short events, each a separate contest with its own controls and objectives, testing timing, button mashing and reflexes. Between events you can spend points, and performing well affects your standing in the competition. Springfield characters appear throughout, and the presentation uses the black-and-white Game Boy screen with cartoon-style sprites and simple sound effects. The structure suits short sessions, since each event can be attempted quickly and the whole competition plays out in a single sitting. It is a minigame collection rather than a platformer, so success depends on learning the individual challenges.
