The Simpsons Game – PSP Game

The PSP version of the action platformer in which the Simpson family becomes aware they are in a video game and gains superpowers. You play as Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa, swapping between characters to use their individual abilities: Bartman’s gliding and slingshot, Homer’s transformations, Lisa’s Buddha powers and Marge’s megaphone for commanding crowds. Levels parody video game genres and well-known titles, with the plot poking fun at game development and clichés. The presentation uses the show’s animation style and voice cast for its cutscenes, and Springfield locations appear throughout. Collectibles are scattered across the stages for players who want to revisit them. The handheld release keeps the character-swapping structure and level-based progression of the console versions.
