The Simpsons Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror – Gameboy Color Game

The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror is a side-scrolling platformer for Game Boy Color based on the show’s Halloween episodes. Levels draw on the horror and science-fiction parodies from the Treehouse of Horror segments, with different members of the Simpson family playable across the stages. Play involves running, jumping and avoiding hazards and enemies as you work through each themed environment, collecting items along the way. The presentation uses colour sprite art of the family and Springfield locations, with short scenes framing the individual stories. As with most handheld platformers of its era, progress is made by clearing stages one at a time rather than exploring a connected world.
