Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 is an entry in EA Sports’ long-running golf series for PlayStation 2. You play rounds of stroke and match play on licensed real-world and fictional courses, using a swing system built around the analog stick, with power, tempo and shot shaping all determined by how you move it. Alongside quick rounds and tournaments, the game includes a career mode in which you create a golfer, compete for money and rankings, and improve attributes such as driving distance, accuracy and putting over time. Licensed professionals appear as opponents and playable characters. Multiplayer is handled locally with players alternating shots, and various side challenges and mini-games provide alternatives to a full 18-hole round.
