Time Soldiers – Sega Master System Game

Time Soldiers is an overhead run-and-gun shooter for the Sega Master System, adapted from the arcade original. You move through stages set in different historical eras, shooting enemy soldiers and creatures while working toward the goal of rescuing captured comrades. The camera looks down on the action, and you can aim in multiple directions independently of the way you are travelling, which lets you fire at enemies approaching from any side. Weapon upgrades dropped during play increase your firepower, though damage returns you to the basic weapon. Each era ends with a larger boss enemy guarding the exit. Levels are populated with enemies arriving in waves from off-screen, so constant movement and rotation are central to survival as you push forward through each period.
