TMNT – GBA Game

TMNT for Game Boy Advance is an action platformer based on the computer-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. You play as Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello, each using their own weapon and moves, and the game moves between them as the story progresses through New York rooftops, streets and interiors. Play combines side-scrolling platforming with melee combat against waves of enemies, along with wall jumps, climbing and other acrobatic movement drawn from the turtles’ ninja training. Boss encounters punctuate the levels and follow beats from the film’s plot, with cutscene panels linking stages together. Presentation uses hand-drawn sprite artwork rather than the movie’s CG look. Progress is handled through a linear stage structure suited to handheld play.
