Toki Tori – Gameboy Color Game

Toki Tori is a puzzle-platformer for the Game Boy Color in which you control a small yellow chick collecting eggs scattered around single-screen stages. Rather than relying on reflexes, each level is a logic problem: you are given a limited set of tools and must work out the correct order in which to use them. Tools include a bridge builder, a teleporter, a freeze ray and an instant trap, and using one at the wrong moment can leave a level unsolvable, so restarting is part of solving. Toki Tori cannot jump, so movement depends on ladders, platforms and the tools at hand. Levels are grouped into themed worlds with increasing complexity, and harder difficulty settings introduce more demanding versions of the puzzles.
