Tomb Raider II – PS1 Game

Tomb Raider II follows Lara Croft’s search for the Dagger of Xian, pitting her against a cult led by Marco Bartoli. The adventure opens at the Great Wall of China and moves through Venice, an offshore oil rig, a sunken ship and the mountains of Tibet. The core play remains exploration-driven: running, jumping, ledge grabbing, swimming and solving switch, key and block puzzles inside grid-based 3D levels rigged with traps. This entry adds climbable surfaces, flares for lighting dark rooms, and vehicles including a speedboat and a snowmobile. Human enemies appear far more often than in the first game, and the arsenal expands with weapons such as the M16, grenade launcher and harpoon gun. Lara’s mansion returns as a training area.
