Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 on GameCube is a trick-based skateboarding game played across open levels filled with rails, ramps and gaps. Career mode sets a list of goals in each stage, such as reaching score targets, collecting the S-K-A-T-E letters, and completing tasks given by characters in the environment, with progress unlocking further locations. The revert lets you land a ramp trick and roll straight into a manual, so combos can be carried across an entire level rather than ending at each transition. You choose from a roster of licensed professional skaters or create your own, spending earned points on stat increases and new tricks. A park editor and local multiplayer modes are included alongside the main career.
