The Xbox release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 has you skating timed runs through open levels, working through a goal list in each stage that includes score targets, collecting the S-K-A-T-E letters, and finishing tasks tied to the environment. Meeting enough objectives unlocks further locations. Combos are built by linking grinds, grabs, flips and lip tricks, and the revert lets you exit a ramp trick into a manual so a chain can continue across the whole level. You choose from a roster of licensed professional skaters or create your own, then spend earned points on stats and new moves. A park editor for designing custom layouts and multiplayer modes are included with the career mode.
