True Crime

True Crime: New York City is an action-adventure game for PlayStation 2 set in a crime-focused open-world version of Manhattan. The story follows Marcus Reed, a former gangster turned NYPD officer, as he investigates the murder of his mentor and takes control of the streets.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Open-world patrol gameplay blends street crime investigations, driving, shootouts, chases, and on-foot combat.
• Police authority can be used through arrests, interrogations, informants, extortion, frisking, and other street-level actions.
• New York City locations include diverse neighborhoods such as Harlem and Wall Street, with hundreds of interiors to enter.
• Combat includes multiple fighting styles and improvised weapons such as chairs, pipes, and frying pans.
• Weapon options include both police-issued firepower and black market weapons.

The game ties its crime story to a Manhattan setting with missions built around street justice, corruption, and Reed’s role inside the NYPD. Its mix of police mechanics and open-city action separates it from more straightforward mission-based crime games on the PlayStation 2.
