Twisted Metal [Black Label] – PS1 Game

Twisted Metal is a vehicular combat game for the PlayStation. You choose a driver and their armed vehicle, then fight in enclosed arenas until you are the last one running. Each car has its own balance of speed, armor and handling, plus a unique special weapon tied to that character. Scattered pickups supply homing missiles, machine gun ammo, mines, health and other items, and you can also ram opponents or crush them against scenery. Levels are built from city streets, rooftops and other urban spaces with destructible elements and hazards to use against rivals. A tournament mode strings the arenas together with short story sequences for each driver, and a split-screen mode lets a second player join for head-to-head matches.
