Ultimate Fighting Championship – PS1 Game

Ultimate Fighting Championship brings mixed martial arts to the PlayStation as a 3D fighting game set inside the octagon. Bouts combine stand-up striking with clinch work and ground grappling, so matches shift between trading punches and kicks at range and struggling for position on the mat, where you can work toward a submission hold or try to escape one. Stamina matters, and fights can end by knockout, submission or decision rather than by a simple health bar drain alone. Alongside single exhibition matches, the game includes tournament-style play against a field of fighters. The control scheme asks you to learn transitions and reversals as much as combos, giving it a slower, more deliberate rhythm than most arcade fighters of its era. Local two-player matches are supported.
