Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria – PS2 Game

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria is a role-playing game built around Norse mythology, following the valkyrie Silmeria and the princess Alicia who shares her body. Exploration takes place in side-scrolling dungeons where you jump, dodge hazards and use a crystal-creating ability to freeze enemies, build platforms and reach otherwise blocked paths. Battles are turn-based but position matters: your party of four moves around a battlefield, and each character is mapped to a face button so you can chain attacks together into combos that build a gauge for powerful finishing moves. You recruit einherjar, the spirits of fallen warriors, then equip and develop them, with the option to release them to the gods for rewards. Equipment carries skills and stat effects that can be transferred between characters as you build your party.
