Virtua Fighter 2 – Sega Saturn Game

Virtua Fighter 2 is a 3D fighting game brought to the Sega Saturn from Sega’s arcade original. Matches take place in open, walled or unwalled arenas where positioning matters as much as attacking, and pushing an opponent outside the ring boundary wins the round just as surely as depleting their health. The control scheme keeps things compact with punch, kick and guard buttons, and depth comes from timing, throws, counters, and character-specific move lists rather than long special-move inputs. The roster covers a spread of martial arts styles, from karate and jeet kune do to drunken boxing and pro wrestling. Modes include arcade play, versus matches against a second player, and practice options for learning combos and defensive timing. Character models are polygonal and the presentation follows the arcade version closely.
