Virtua Fighter 3tb – Sega Dreamcast Game

Virtua Fighter 3tb is the Dreamcast version of Sega’s third Virtua Fighter, based on the arcade Team Battle revision. The headline addition to the series formula is the Evade button, which lets you sidestep into the third dimension to avoid linear attacks and reposition around an opponent. Stages also introduce uneven terrain, with slopes and raised sections that affect footing, spacing and ring-out risk. The team battle format lets each side field a squad of fighters, with matches carrying on until one team’s roster is exhausted. Alongside returning members of the cast, the game includes Aoi Umenokouji and the sumo wrestler Taka-Arashi. Standard arcade, versus and training modes are present, and combat retains the three-button punch, kick and guard layout the series is built around.
