Warhammer 40,000

Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command is a turn-based tactics game for the PlayStation Portable set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. You command a small squad of Space Marines, moving each trooper across isometric battlefields and spending action points to advance, take cover and fire. Combat emphasises line of sight and positioning, and much of the scenery can be blown apart, so walls and barricades used for cover degrade as the firefight continues. Squad members carry different weapons, from bolters to heavy and special ordnance, and you can call in support fire against enemy positions. The campaign pits your force against the forces of Chaos across a series of missions, with multiplayer skirmishes also available. Presentation uses grim gothic environments and armoured character models typical of the setting.
