Wario Ware Mega Party Games – Gamecube Game

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$ is a GameCube release that takes the microgame format and reworks it for multiplayer. Microgames still last only seconds and give a single-word instruction, but here they are wrapped in party modes where several players share or pass the controller, competing to survive, score points or sabotage each other. Modes include board-style contests, elimination formats and games where the players not currently in control can interfere or watch the screen effects change. A single-player component is also present, letting you work through microgame sets on your own. The microgames themselves cover a wide mix of styles, from sports and everyday actions to references to older Nintendo games, and the visual presentation combines pixel art, cartoon drawings and photographic elements.
