WCW vs. nWo World Tour is a Nintendo 64 wrestling game using a grapple-based control system in which holds succeed more easily as an opponent takes damage, and a spirit meter governs when finishing moves can be performed. The roster is organized into leagues and factions drawn from World Championship Wrestling and the nWo, along with additional fictional competitors. World Tour mode has you fighting through successive leagues of increasing difficulty, with victories unlocking further wrestlers and characters. Match options include singles, tag team, handicap and battle royal bouts, with support for multiple players on one console. Each wrestler has an individual move set of strikes, throws, submissions and a signature finisher, and matches can spill outside the ring.
