Winning Eleven 9 – PS2 Game

Winning Eleven 9 is Konami’s PlayStation 2 football title, the Japanese-named counterpart to the Pro Evolution Soccer series. On the pitch, play centres on building attacks patiently, with weighted passing, first-touch control and shooting that rewards timing rather than button mashing. Off the pitch you get exhibition matches, cup and league tournaments, training, and the Master League club-management mode, where you run a squad across seasons, handle transfers and watch player abilities rise and fall with age and use. Tactics, formations and individual player roles can be set before and during matches. Licensing is partial, so certain teams and competitions appear under official names while others do not. Several players can compete or team up on one console, with adjustable difficulty and match length.
