Xenoblade Chronicles X – Wii U Game

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a role-playing game for Wii U set on the alien planet Mira after humanity flees a destroyed Earth. You create your own avatar, join the survey team operating out of the city of New Los Angeles, and explore vast open continents full of native wildlife, many of which vastly outclass you early on. Combat is real-time and art-based, with melee and ranged weapons, positional bonuses and a call system for coordinating with party members. Progress unlocks Skell mechs, transforming armoured units that can travel on land, and later fly, changing how you reach the map’s higher and more remote areas. Alongside the story, the game offers extensive side missions, gear crafting and online features that let players share squad tasks and recruit other players’ characters.
