XIII – PS2 Game

XIII is a first-person shooter based on the Belgian comic series. You wake with amnesia and a tattoo reading XIII, and the story follows your attempt to piece together your identity while entangled in a conspiracy around the assassination of the President of the United States. The game leans on its comic origins for style: cel-shaded visuals with bold black outlines, sound effects rendered as drawn words during combat, and inset panels that show enemies noticing you or reacting to a hit. Alongside straightforward gunfights, you can approach areas quietly, take enemies as human shields, and use objects in the environment as weapons. The PlayStation 2 version includes multiplayer options in addition to the single-player campaign.
