Xyanide – Xbox Game

Xyanide is a shooter for the original Xbox in which you fly a craft through enclosed, tube-like 3D environments on a set path, dodging obstacles and destroying waves of enemies as they appear. Movement is limited to steering around the interior of the course while the game pushes you forward, so play centres on reading patterns, weaving through hazards, and keeping your fire on targets. Levels are punctuated by larger boss encounters that require you to learn attack patterns and find weak points. Between stages you can spend earned resources to strengthen your ship and its weaponry, which shapes how you handle later, busier sections. The visual design leans toward organic, alien shapes rather than conventional space or aircraft settings.
