Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls is a role-playing game where you use the Yo-kai Watch to find spirits hiding around town and recruit them to your team. Combat uses a wheel of six Yo-kai with three fighting at once, and your role is to rotate the wheel, aim attacks at particular foes, cure allies of negative effects and set off Soultimate moves with touch-screen inputs. You explore Springdale and nearby areas, travel to the past, and take on side quests alongside activities like fishing, bug catching and Crank-a-kai capsule machines. Yo-kai can be fused or evolved into stronger forms as your roster grows. Fleshy Souls is one of two paired versions, each with its own exclusive Yo-kai, and supports trading and battling with other players locally and online.
