Yoshi’s Woolly World – Wii U Game

Yoshi’s Woolly World is a side-scrolling platformer for the Wii U in which Yoshi and the entire world are made of yarn, felt and other craft materials. Yoshi swallows enemies and turns them into yarn balls that are thrown to hit switches, unravel hidden platforms and stitch scenery into place, alongside flutter jumping and ground pounding. Each stage hides collectibles, including flower petals and bundles of wool that unlock additional Yoshi patterns, encouraging revisits to fully clear a level. Two players can play cooperatively at the same time, with one Yoshi able to swallow the other and spit them out as a projectile. A relaxed mode gives Yoshi wings and reduces the challenge for less experienced players, and amiibo can unlock extra Yoshi designs.
