The Eternal Duelist Soul is a Game Boy Advance duel simulator that follows the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game rules closely. You build a deck from a large card pool and work through a roster of opponents taken from the series, duelling them repeatedly to earn new cards. Booster packs are unlocked and purchased with points won from matches, and card availability rotates so building specific strategies takes persistence. A deck editor lets you sort and filter your collection, save multiple decks, and check card text and stats. Duels are presented from an overhead view of the field with menu-driven summoning, attacking and card activation. Link cable support allows duels against another player, and password entry can be used to obtain certain cards.
