A Wii U version of Twilight Princess with updated visuals and support for the GamePad, which can display maps and inventory or be used for off-television play. You play as Link, who shifts between human and wolf forms as a twilight realm spreads over Hyrule, joined by the companion Midna. Wolf sections use scent tracking and close-quarters attacks, while human sections centre on sword and shield combat and dungeon puzzles built around items such as the bow, clawshot, boomerang and iron boots. Epona is used for overworld travel and mounted fights. This release adjusts some inventory and item management compared with the original and includes amiibo functionality. Villages, fields and side activities connect the main dungeons across a large overworld.
