Back to the Future – NES Game

Back to the Future for the Nintendo Entertainment System is an action game based on the film. Most of the game has you guiding Marty along scrolling town streets, dodging pedestrians, obstacles and other hazards while collecting clocks to keep going. A photograph at the top of the screen gradually fades as time runs short, tying your progress to the film’s premise of a disappearing family. Between these street sections are short stages based on scenes from the movie, including sequences set in a cafe and at the school dance, each with its own simple objective and control scheme. The game ends with the attempt to reach the clock tower. It is a single-player game built around timing, reflexes and repeated attempts at each stage.
