Battle Clash – SNES Game

Battle Clash is a Super Nintendo shooting game built for the Super Scope, the system’s light gun accessory. You take the role of a pilot facing a series of one-on-one duels against giant piloted mechs, viewed from a first-person perspective as you aim and fire directly at the screen. Each opponent has its own attack patterns, weak points and armour, so matches become a matter of learning when to shoot at exposed sections and when to hold fire and dodge incoming projectiles. Your shots can be charged for stronger damage, and a targeting assist helps line up hits, while a helper character offers advice between and during battles. Play is structured as a run of escalating boss encounters rather than a scrolling stage-based shooter. The Super Scope is required.
