Breath of Fire II – SNES Game

Breath of Fire II is a turn-based role-playing game for the Super Nintendo. Ryu returns to his hometown after a childhood prologue and finds that his family has been forgotten, which sets him on a long journey across the world with a party of companions. Combat is menu-driven with attacks, magic and items, and Ryu can transform into dragon forms. Several party members change shape outside of battle to cross terrain or reach new areas, and the shaman system lets you fuse elemental spirits with characters to alter their stats, spells and appearance. You can also develop a township that gains buildings and residents as you recruit people during the story, unlocking shops and other services.
