Addams Family Values – SNES Game

Addams Family Values on the Super Nintendo is an action-adventure game played from an overhead viewpoint. You control Uncle Fester as he searches for the kidnapped baby Pubert, travelling through forests, caves, swamps and other areas connected by a large world map. Fester attacks by firing energy bolts and can gather a range of magical items and spells that expand his abilities, along with keys and quest objects needed to open new paths. Much of the game involves talking to characters for hints, solving item-based puzzles and finding the correct route through maze-like regions, with bosses guarding key locations. Health and inventory are tracked on screen, and passwords are used to continue. The look and writing follow the Addams Family films, with familiar family members appearing throughout.
