Freedom Force – NES Game

Freedom Force is a light gun shooter for the Nintendo Entertainment System, played with the NES Zapper. You take the role of a counter-terrorist marksman sent into hijack and hostage situations, aiming at the screen to pick off armed enemies as they appear at windows, doorways and behind cover. Civilians and hostages move through the same scenes, and shooting them costs you, so the game is as much about restraint and target identification as reaction speed. Ammunition is limited, requiring you to reload during lulls in the action rather than firing continuously. Stages present fixed viewpoints that scroll or cut between positions, with enemies emerging from multiple points at once. A Zapper is required to play; the game is not designed for standard controller input.
