Jackie Chan’s Action Kung Fu – NES Game

Jackie Chan’s Action Kung Fu is a side-scrolling action platformer for the NES in which you play a cartoon version of Jackie Chan. Your basic moves are punches and kicks, with jumping attacks and a spinning aerial kick that lets you strike enemies from above. Levels scroll horizontally through varied settings and are populated by waves of enemies, hazards and bosses that guard the end of each stage. Along the way you can pick up items and power-ups that add special attacks, including projectile-style abilities that give you options at range. Some sections break from straightforward running and jumping with climbing and vertical stretches. The graphics use a bright, exaggerated cartoon style, and the difficulty rises steadily as you progress toward the final confrontation.
