Jurassic Park – NES Game

Jurassic Park for the NES adapts the film into an action game set across the island’s park grounds and facilities. You play as Dr. Alan Grant, working through outdoor areas viewed from overhead where dinosaurs roam freely, and switching to a first-person view for sections set inside buildings. Outdoor stages task you with locating and gathering dinosaur eggs before you can move on, while indoor sequences involve navigating corridors and dealing with raptors at close range. Grant carries weapons that stun or repel the dinosaurs, with ammunition picked up as you explore, so managing supplies matters. Hazards include pack-hunting raptors, dilophosaurs and larger predators, along with environmental obstacles between areas. The mix of two viewpoints gives the game a different rhythm from stage to stage.
