Lock n Chase – Gameboy Game

A Game Boy conversion of Data East’s arcade maze game. You play a thief moving through a single-screen maze, collecting the gold coins scattered along its corridors while police officers chase you from every direction. The twist is the set of doors built into the passages: you can open and close them to seal off a corridor, blocking pursuers or buying yourself a route out of a dead end, and timing those closures is the core of the strategy. Clear the maze of gold to move on to the next stage, where the layout and the pressure change. Bonus items appear for extra points, and caught thieves cost you a life. Play is quick, score-driven, and built around learning the patterns of the patrolling police.
