Mortal Kombat II – SNES Game

Mortal Kombat II for the Super Nintendo is a conversion of the arcade fighting game, using digitized sprites of live actors. Matches are one on one over two rounds, with punch, kick and block controls that support uppercuts, sweeps, projectiles and juggling combos. The roster pairs returning fighters from the first game with new characters, each with their own special moves and Fatalities. Stages are set in the game’s outworld locations, and certain arenas include environmental finishers. Along with Fatalities you can perform alternate finishing moves that transform a beaten opponent instead of killing them. Hidden fighters and secret battles can be triggered by meeting specific conditions during play. Modes cover the single-player ladder against CPU-controlled opponents and two-player head-to-head matches, with difficulty and match options adjustable from the menus.
