ActRaiser 2 – SNES Game

ActRaiser 2 is a side-scrolling action game for the Super Nintendo. You play as a deity who descends to the world in physical form, battling demons across a series of stages set in different lands. Unlike the original ActRaiser, the town-building simulation sections are gone, leaving the focus entirely on combat and platforming. Your character fights with a sword and can use magic attacks, and a glide move lets you slow your descent and cross gaps in the air. Levels are built around aerial movement, hazards and boss encounters, and the difficulty is aimed at players comfortable with demanding action games. The presentation leans on dark fantasy artwork, large sprites and an orchestral-style soundtrack. Each region ends in a confrontation with a major demon.
