MUSCLE – NES Game

MUSCLE is a wrestling game for the NES based on the M.U.S.C.L.E. toy line of small figures. You control a muscle-bound wrestler in a ring and fight tag team matches, tagging your partner in and out while trying to knock down and pin the opposing side. Attacks include grapples, throws and running strikes, and matches can be played against the computer or against a second player. The ring is drawn at an angle so wrestlers can move around the mat in several directions rather than along a single plane, and hazards at the ring’s edge add extra ways to take damage. Matches are short and score-driven, with the emphasis on quick, arcade-style brawling rather than a deep move list.
