Robocop vs The Terminator – SNES Game

RoboCop versus The Terminator brings the two film franchises together in a side-scrolling run-and-gun game for the Super Nintendo. You play as RoboCop, walking and jumping through city streets, factories and machine-dominated landscapes while shooting a steady stream of human criminals and, later, Terminator units. Weapons are collected as you go, ranging from your standard pistol to heavier automatic and explosive armaments, and ammunition for the stronger guns is finite. Health pickups and armour repairs are hidden throughout the stages, and destructible scenery and background enemies keep the screen busy. Levels are laid out with vertical routes and platforms to climb as well as straightforward corridors, and each ends in a larger enemy encounter. The story moves from Detroit into a future dominated by machines. Single-player only.
