Spiderman X-Men Arcade’s Revenge – SNES Game

A side-scrolling action platformer that puts Spider-Man and several X-Men against the villain Arcade, who has built a series of deadly attractions to trap them. You start as Spider-Man, then take on separate stages built around Wolverine, Cyclops, Gambit and Storm, each with their own abilities: Wolverine’s claws, Cyclops’ optic blast, Gambit’s thrown cards and Storm’s flight through water-filled levels. Spider-Man can web-swing, crawl on walls and ceilings, and fire webbing at enemies. Once you clear a hero’s set of stages you return to a selection screen to pick who plays next, and finishing all of them opens the final confrontation with Arcade. Level design leans on precise jumping, timed hazards and enemy patterns, with boss encounters drawn from Marvel comics.
