Street Racer – Gameboy Game

Street Racer is a cartoon-styled kart racer with a cast of exaggerated characters, each driving their own vehicle with different handling and a signature attack. Races are combative as well as competitive: you can punch and shove rivals sideways off the racing line, and using the terrain and shortcuts matters as much as raw speed. Courses are themed around different settings and are run as a championship series, with placings across races determining the overall winner. Beyond straight racing, the game includes alternative competitive modes that put the same characters and cars to other uses in enclosed arenas. On Game Boy the presentation is scaled down to the handheld’s monochrome screen and smaller control set.
